The Interdisciplinary Projects (IDPro) program at Virginia Tech bridges classroom learning and real-world application through multi-semester, client-based projects. Students from various majors collaborate on industry, research, or service-learning projects, gaining invaluable professional skills and experiences. IDPro offers mentorship, resources, and industry engagement, empowering students to tackle real-world problems and develop as professionals. Our program also welcomes potential clients and partners to collaborate with us, providing guidance and benefiting from innovative solutions crafted by talented, interdisciplinary teams.
We are a dedicated team of educators, researchers, and collaborators bringing our own experience with interdisciplinary collaboration around the world to Virginia Tech.
